How we work
Most of our work comes from people who were recommended to us by a neighbor, which shapes how we run jobs. When you are going to run into your customers at the grocery store, you do not leave nails in their yard or disappear when something needs a second visit.
Practically that means a few things. Inspections are free and you get the photographs whether or not you hire us. Estimates are line items, so you can see what each part costs and compare quotes on the same basis. And if a repair will get you several more years, we say so, even when a replacement would be the bigger sale.
Who runs the company
Greg Cranston and Michael Skov, co-owners, Richmond TX. Greg is on the inspections, writes the estimates, and is the one who will tell you a repair will hold rather than sell you a replacement you do not need.
The company is run out of Richmond and stays inside Fort Bend County and the surrounding area on purpose. Keeping the map small is what makes it possible to come back out when something needs a second look — which is the part most roofing customers only find out about after the job is paid for.
Roofing and general contracting
Roofing is the core of what we do and the majority of the work. The general contracting side — siding, fencing, remodeling, interior repair — exists because so many roofing jobs do not stop at the roof. A leak that damaged a ceiling needs both. A hailstorm that took the roof usually took gutters and fence panels too. Being able to handle all of it means one schedule, one point of contact, and nobody available to blame the other trade.
Certifications
TAMKO Qualified Applicator and TAMKO Contractor Certified since May 2025. Malarkey Emerald Premium Contractor since 2024.
What we will not do
| Advise you on an insurance claim | We inspect, document and repair roofs. Anything involving your policy is between you and your carrier; we don’t advise on it. We document damage thoroughly and hand you the report. What you do with it is yours to decide. |

Are you a local company?
Yes. We are based in Richmond and the majority of our work is within Fort Bend County. We are not a storm-chasing operation that arrives after a hail event and leaves once the work dries up.
Do you do commercial work as well as residential?
Our focus is residential roofing and exteriors. Call us with a commercial project and we will tell you honestly whether it is a fit.
Who will I be dealing with?
The same person from the inspection through to the final walkthrough. You will not be handed between a salesperson, a project manager and a call center.
Every estimate we hand you states in writing what our workmanship warranty covers and for how long — read it before you sign, and compare it line for line against any other bid.
